Pengaruh Berat Roller Pada Countinuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Terhadap Performa Sepeda Motor
Abstract
The automatic motor is influenced by several factors, one of which is the movement of the sliding sheave which is pressed by the ballast or roller based on the engine speed, if the ballast or roller is getting lighter it causes the pulley to widen. So it is necessary to adjust the weight of the roller with the aim of obtaining optimal power so that it is able to carry out higher acceleration. High-acceleration motors require more fuel to produce more power. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of roller weight CVT to torque, power and specific fuel consumption. For torque and power testing, the dinojet 250i was tested at 5500 rpm, 6000 rpm, 6500 rpm and 7000 rpm. To test the specific fuel consumption of the tool used is the burret, the test is done by looking at the reduction in fuel in the burret for 30 seconds carried out at 5500 rpm, 6000 rpm, 6500 rpm and 7000 rpm. From the torque and power test data it shows that each roller will experience an increase in the graph of the torque and power test data at each rpm and from the specific fuel consumption test data it shows that each roller will experience a decrease in the graph of the specific fuel consumption test data at each rpm.
